Letter 'Ain' represents 'Almas 'Ali Khan, an important functionary of the Nawab, Shuja' al-Daula.

   

127.  Copper Paisa, in the name of Shah Alam II, AH x/26, Lucknow but mint name Muhammadabad Banaras, with Fish and Cross symbol, 12.8g, (KM# A99), fine, rare.

Estimate: Rs. 1,200-1500.



   

128.  Awadh, Paisa, in the name of Shah Alam II, Najibabad, AH x/45, 4.6g, Fish mark, unlisted, fine, very rare.

Estimate: Rs. 1,800-2000.

Obverse seems to be similar to the coins of Jaipur.

   

129.  Silver Rupee, Bareli Khitta, AH x/29, the word 'Sahai' in the 'laam' of fazl, and a cross on the obv and letter 'Ain' on rev, very fine, unpublished. Possibly surname of a Darogha of mint or a sardar
