001.  Punch-marked Coins, Gandhara Janapada, 6th century BC, Silver, Bent Bar, Shatamana, 11.0 g, 32x11 mm (Rajgor 2001, Series 35). ouble symbol type, broad flan, Uncleaned with slight corrosion at one corner, Very Fine+, Rare..

Estimate: Rs. 2,500-3,000



   

002.  Punch-marked Coins, Gandhara Janapada, 6th century BC, Silver, Bent Bar, Shatamana, 10.6 g, 40x10 mm (Rajgor 2001, Series 35). Double symbol type, narrow flan, a nice curve at one end, Very Fine+, Rare.

Estimate: Rs. 3,000-3,500



   

003.  Punch-marked Coins, Gandhara Janapada, 6th century BC, debased Silver, Bent Bar, Shatamana, 11.4 g, 33x9 mm (Rajgor 2001, Series 35). Double symbol type, shroff’s marks in center Very Fine, Scarce.

Estimate: Rs. 3,000-3,500



   

004.  Punch-marked (2), Gandhara Janapada, Copper, 11.5 g, 20x14 mm, double symbol type (Rajgor 2001, Series 36), corroded with green patina; Copper, 14.2 g, Bihar Punch-marked, probably of Anga Janapada, 5th century BC, symbols on both the sides. Shallow impressions, Fine. (2).

Estimate: Rs. 3,000-3,500

   

005.  Kashi Janapada, Silver, Vimashatika, four-symbol type, 5th century BC, under Kosala Janapada (Rajgor, Series 58). First broken and corroded, second Fine; Avanti Janapada, Silver, Karshapana, broken 2.1 g, double obverse type, restruck (Rajgor, Series 22). Fine and Rare. .

Estimate: Rs. 6,000-8,000



   

006.  Magadha Janapada, Silver (2), Karshapana, 5-symbol type, double obverse or restruck type (Rajgor, Series 11). Very Fine+, Rare. (2)

007.  Surashtra Janapada, Silver (10), ¼ Karshapana, multiple restrikes type (Rajgor, Series 18). Fine to Very Fine. (10)

008.  Indo-Greeks, Menander I, Silver, Drachm, elephant walking to right with Greek legend around on obv; Bull in center with Kharoshthi legend on rev. Uncleaned, Very Fine, Rare.

010.  Indo-Greeks, Antialcidas, Copper, 4 g, bust of the ruler to right on obv, Bonnet des Dioscures with palm on rev (Bope# Sr. 14). Fine+, Rare.

011.  Taxila, Copper, uninscribed, lion walking to left on obv and elephant walking to right on rev. About Very Fine, Scarce.

012.  Southern India, Copper (3), Pandyas, elephant to right with small (supposedly Jain) symbols above its back as obv, defaced fish on rev; Cheras (2), elephant to right on obv and bow and arrow on rev; elephant right with a trident in front on obv, bow and arrow, ankush and sun and moon in circle on rev (Mitch # 65, 74). Fine+ to About Very Fine, Scarce. (3)

013.  City-States of Narmada Valley, Copper (2), Kuraraya, 1.4 g; Bhagilaya, 5.1 g, punch-marked type. Uncleaned, Very Fine for the type, Rare. (2)

014.  Ericachha, Copper, 8.4 g, punch-marked type with Brahmi legend erikachchha, uniface; Lead, 10.3 g, uninscribed, animal to left with a counch-like symbol on its back on obv, uniface. First Fine, second Very Fine, Rare. (2)

015.  City-State of Mugamukhe, 2nd century BC, Lead (2), .4 and 3.5 g, frog and a balance-like symbol on obv; Brahmi legend mugamukhe on rev. Very Fine+, Rare. (2)
