This outstanding epithet 'Baldat e Fakhira' (Splendid city) is found on the coins of Burhanpur struck in the first year of the Emperor's reign.

A remarkable and first known silver Nisar for the Bijapur mint. The coin presumably was struck in Ry-29 (June-July 1686), to commemorate the victory over Bijapur. Please see article by Dr. Shailendra Bhandare in NL 160 of ONS.
